Shortcuts in Google Analytics are a great tool to save time accessing reports that you use on a regular basis.
In the example below I have setup a search query report and filtered the results to only show search queries with a session duration of less than 30 seconds. I have also set the date range to “last 30 days”.
In order to analyse this report I would normally have to go through a number of steps to configure the report. Moving forward, I can access this report with just one click by adding a shortcut.
Just click “Shortcut” at the top of the screen, enter a name for your shortcut and click “Ok”.
Whenever you want to go back to the report, you can now access it with just one click from the Shortcuts menu on the left-hand side.
